Latvijas Nacionālās bibliotēkas (LNB) izpilddirektore Dzintra Mukāne (no kreisās), LNB padomnieks arhitektūras un kultūrpolitikas jautājumos Jānis Dripe, LNB Korporatīvās komunikācijas vadītāja Anna Muhka, Latvijas Teātra darbinieku savienības valdes priekšsēdētājs Ojārs Rubenis un LNB Atbalsta biedrības direktore Kārina Pētersone, atzīmējot Grāmatu draugu ķēdes desmitgadi, piedalās simboliskā akcijā LNB, kurā LNB darbinieki aicina bibliotēkas apmeklētājus improvizētā grāmatu ķēdē pāri ātrijam no rokas rokā nodot un svinīgi ievietot grāmatu dāvinājumus Tautas grāmatu plauktā.

Dzintra Mukāne (from left), Executive Director of the National Library of Latvia, Jānis Dripe, Adviser on Architecture and Cultural Policy of the National Library of Latvia, Anna Muhka, Head of Corporate Communications of the National Library of Latvia, Ojārs Rubenis, Chairman of the Board of the Latvian Theatre Workers' Union, and Kārina Pētersone, Director of the LNB Support Society, marking the tenth anniversary of the Book Friends Chain, are taking part in a symbolic action at the LNB, in which LNB staff invite library visitors to pass donations of books from hand to hand in an improvised book chain across the atrium and ceremoniously place them on the People's Bookshelf.
