If there are vaccines, Valmiera plans to vaccinate 800 education workers by end of week
RIGA, April 14 (LETA) - If there are enough vaccines, Valmiera plans to vaccinate at least 800 teachers by the end of the week, said Valmiera council spokeswoman Kristine Melece.
Valmiera council education department have surveyed all representatives of municipak education institutions, private education institutions, Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences and Valmiera Vocational School, and 698 education workers have registered for vaccination at manavakcina.lv portal or by phone 8989.
The mass vaccination center in Valmiera plans to vaccinate 48 persons on April 15. On April 16-18, the vaccination center will be opened from 8 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., and plans to vaccination about 800 people or 266 people a day on average if there are enough vaccines.
