Gulbene Region overtakes Daugavpils as municipality with highest Covid-19 incidence
RIGA, Nov 25 (LETA) - Gulbene Region has overtaken Daugavpils City as the Latvian municipality with the highest cumulative two-week Covid-19 incidence per 100,000 population, according to LETA's estimates based on the data from the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC).
The cumulative two-week number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population is now 1,065.3 in Gulbene Region and 1,007.1 in Daugavpils.
In 16 municipalities the cumulative number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population exceeds Latvia's average Covid-19 incidence, which has dropped to 706 cases per 100,000 population.
The cumulative two-week incidence figure is 981.4 in Liepaja, 895 in Preili Region, 888.1 in Olaine Region, 855 in Bauska Region, 854.5 in Kekava Region, 842.4 in Sigulda Region, 809.8 in Valmiera Region, 807.3 in Ventspils Region, 806.6 in Cesis Region, 798.4 in Madona Region, 788 in Ogre Region, 768 in Jelgava Region, 729.1 in Riga City and 719.9 in Talsi Region.
