Covid-19 incidence in 19 municipalities exceeds Latvia's average - CDC
RIGA, April 1 (LETA) - Covid-19 incidence in 19 municipalities of Latvia currently exceeds Latvia's average rate of infections, according to the data released by the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC).
Cumulative 14-day Covid-19 incidence has dropped to 3,055.3 cases per 100,000 population in Rezekne. It has also been above average in Daugavpils, Aluksne, Jekabpils, Preili municipalities, as well as in Ventspils, Livani, Varaklani, Ludza municipalities, Liepaja, Rezekne, Kraslava, Madona, Augsdaugava, Valka, Gulbene, Kildiga, Adazi and Salaspils municipalities.
Latvia's cumulative two-week number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population has decreased to 1,869.3.
Of the 1,792 new Covid-19 cases confirmed in Latvia on Thursday, 29 percent, or 525 cases, have been recorded in Riga, the CDC said.
