RIGA, Feb 10 (LETA) - Of the 990 new Covid-19 cases confirmed in Latvia in the past 24 hours, 35 percent were recorded in Riga, but relatively many cases were reported also in Daugavpils, according to the data released by the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC).

The 350 new cases discovered in Riga brought the cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases in the Latvian capital to 3,686.

In Daugavpils, the cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases reached 651, with 68 new cases recorded in the last 24 hours.

Another 36 new Covid-19 cases were confirmed in Jelgava where the cumulative 14-day incidence grew to 396.
