Most of Latvia's new Covid-19 cases recorded in Riga, Daugavpils, Jelgava and Jurmala
RIGA, March 19 (LETA) - Out of the 622 new Covid-19 cases confirmed in Latvia in the past 24 hours, 32 percent have been recorded in Riga, but Daugavpils, Jelgava and Jurmala reported many cases as well, according to the data released by the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC).
The 202 new cases discovered in Riga brought the cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases in the Latvian capital to 2,323.
Daugavpils reported 30 new cases, while the cumulative 14-day incidence reached 412. Jelgava reported 25 new cases and the the two-week cumulative incidence in the city reached 262. Jurmala reported 24 new infections with the two-week cumulative incidence increasing to 190 people.
Latvia's cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population is currently 372.7, according to LETA's estimates.
