RIGA, Sept 21 (LETA) - Seven Latvian universities have been listed among the world's best universities in U-Multirank rating.

Riga Technical University scored 13 A-level ratings, which is by two A ratings more than last year.

BA School of Business and Finance and Rezekne Academy of Technologies each received ten A-level ratings, which is by four A rating and by one A rating more than a year ago respectively.

At the same time, Daugavpils University, the Latvian University of Agriculture, Latvia's Christian Academy and Riga Stradins University each scored nine A-level ratings, which is by two ratings more than last year for each university.

The Latvian universities showed highest results in international  orientation and regional engagement.

U-Multirank is a multidimensional, user-driven approach to international ranking of higher education institutions. It compares the performances of higher education institutions – in short: universities – in the five dimensions of university activity: teaching and learning, research, knowledge transfer, international orientation and regional engagement.
