RIGA, Jan 19 (LETA) - Centrala Laboratorija lab last year conducted 352,288 Covid-19 tests, LETA learned from Repharm pharmaceutical company's spokeswoman Liga Ribkinska.

The company now has more than 30 points in Latvia for taking test samples, employing about 140 employees.

The company's mobile units also ensure about 50 home visits a day and 3-5 visits to workplaces for testing. In spring, the mobile units made 100-150 home visits a day across Latvia. In the past months, mobile units are visiting schools, preschools, social care homes, companies to make collective testing.

The company has seriously expanded the number of employees. In regions, the company also attracts local medical staff, nurses from the Emergency Medical Service and local hospitals, said Centrala Laboratorija head Jana Osite.

The company has opened new branches in Riga and Daugavpils in early January. 

Centrala Laboratorija has been operating in Latvia since 1994, and is a company of Repharm group.

In 2019, Centrala Laboratorija posted EUR 16.029 million in turnover, and EUR 2.261 million in profit.
