RIGA, Dec 11 (LETA) - Finance Minister Arvils Aseradens (New Unity) will visit Rezekne on Friday, December 13, where he will meet with representatives of Rezekne City Council, the Finance Ministry informed LETA news agency.

During the visit, the minister will meet with the interim administration of Rezekne municipality to discuss progress with financial stabilization, future plans and the region's development potential. During the meeting, the municipality's budget, liabilities and administrative changes will be discussed.

Aseradens will also give a lecture at Rezekne Academy of Technologies, where he will discuss Rezekne Region's development with students.

While in Rezekne, the minister will meet with representatives of Rezekne Special Economic Zone and local businesses.

Aseradens and the head of interim administration of Rezekne municipality will give a press conference at 12 noon.
