    Liepaja Bulk Terminal raises turnover 7.7% in 2021

    RIGA, May 20 (LETA) - Freight terminal Liepaja Bulk Terminal posted EUR 25.027 million in turnover last year, which is 7.7 percent more than in 2020, while the company's profit increased by 63.4 percent to EUR 797,477, according to Firmas.lv.

    Last year, the company handled 2.055 million tons of bulk cargo at Liepaja Port.

    The report says that the company plans to continue investing in development projects. To ensure stability, Liepaja Bulk Terminal focuses on attracting new customers, optimizing costs and exploring new markets.

    Despite the rising prices of resources and the impact of sanctions, the company's management believes that Liepaja Bulk Terminal will be able to continue to operate successfully, says the report.

    In 2020, Liepaja Bulk Terminal achieved EUR 23.221 million in turnover and EUR 488,071 in profit.

    Liepaja Bulk Terminal was registered in 1998 and has a share capital of EUR 348,410. The company belongs to Sergejs Govorovs (47.25 percent), Valentina Babasina (10 percent), company Glued Constructions (24 percent) and Welsh company Tennex Inter Pac (18.75 percent).
