Vaccination centers will work on a daily basis from next week - Pavluts
RIGA, April 28 (LETA) - Vaccination centers, that up until now were only in operation on weekends when the number of vaccines allowed for this, will work on a daily basis from next week, Minister of Health Daniels Pavluts (For Development) told members of the press.
Smaller, or category 3 vaccination centers, will also be opened up in Kuldiga, Tukums, Madona, Bauska, Aluksne and Kekava next week.
As reported, vaccination of all residents in Latvia, irrespective of the priority group, will be started on May 3, the government agreed on Tuesday.
Initially the government planned to launch vaccination of all residents not later than on May 10, but during discussions, the government decided to start it sooner.
