Latvia's large cities to discuss development of Covid-19 vaccination centers
RIGA, March 15 (LETA) - In order to discuss development of vaccination centers in Latvia's large cities, a remote meeting of the Latvian Association of Large Cities and Eva Juhnevica, the head of the Vaccination Project Bureau, will be held.
As reported, several large cities have voiced readiness to ensure premises for mass vaccination in sports halls, and they are ready to provide all the necessary practical and technical support.
The goal is to achieve vaccination of as many people as possible in a short period of time.
The association's members are nine largest cities in Latvia - Daugavpils, Jekabpils, Jelgava, Jurmala, Liepaja, Rezekne, Riga, Ventspils and Valmiera.
