Revenue to Jelgava regional council by EUR 11.5 million lower than expenditure
RIGA, Feb 3 (LETA) - Jelgava regional council today adopted the municipal budget, and revenue is planned by EUR 11.5 million smaller than the expenditure, LETA learned from the local government.
The difference will be covered from the 2021 budget surplus that was more than EUR 7 million and a loan from the Treasury.
The Jelgava regional consolidated budget will have revenue at almost EUR 49 million and expenditure at EUR 60.5 million.
The budget priorities are social protection and ability to ensure the municipality's financial stability in a long term.
