Tukums to see its heating tariffs rise as of October
RIGA, July 2 (LETA) - In October, Tukums will see an even steeper rise in heating tariffs that reported earlier.
Tukuma Siltums municipal heating company earlier submitted a new tariff plan to the Public Utilities Commission, providing that the heating tariffs will rise by 40 percent - from EUR 51.37 per MWh to EUR 77.35 per MWh.
According to the latest information, the tariffs might reach even EUR 80.19 per MWh.
Tukuma Siltums belong to Tukums municipality. In 2021 the company generated EUR 2.81 million in turnover and earned EUR 10,000 in profit.
