Greens/Farmers gets most votes in Dobele municipality
Riga, June 8 (LETA) - The Union of Greens and Farmers has won the most votes in the local elections in Dobele municipality, according to data published by the Central Election Commission (CVK).
Greens/Farmers received 34.11 percent of the votes, which will give it six out of 15 seats in the regional council.
Two lists - Latvia's Green Party with 25.88 percent of the vote and the joint list of the National Alliance and the Latvian Association of Regions with 23.73 percent of the votes - have won four seats each.
The New Unity also made it to the regional council with 7.64 percent of the votes, giving it one seat.
In Dobele municipality, voter turnout reached 43.9 percent.
Currently, Greens/Farmers has nine seats in the Dobele Regional Council, the National Alliance - four, the Latvian Association of Regions - three, the New Unity - two, and KPV LV - one.
