Prices of standard-design apartments in Riga stable in first two months of 2025 - Arco Real Estate
RIGA, March 10 (LETA) - Since the start of this year, prices of Soviet-era standard-design apartments in Riga residential districts have risen by 0.1 percent, according to the latest apartment market report of the real estate company Arco Real Estate.
The biggest changes have been recorded in Jugla, where the prices of standard-design apartments have increased by 2 percent since the start of the year. In Kengarags, apartment prices have gone up 0.7 percent.
In other residential districts, fluctuations of apartment prices did not exceed 0.5 percent.
In February 2025, apartment prices in Riga's largest residential districts averaged at EUR 853 per square meter, up from EUR 848 per square meter a year ago.
Meanwhile, the supply of apartments in Riga's largest residential districts slightly increased in January and February after a drop at the end of last year. However, the 1,488 apartments available for sale in February 2025 was a 13.2 percent drop from February 2014. At the end of February, the highest number apartments (203) were available for sale in Purvciems. The lowest number of apartments for sale - 39 - were recorded in Bolderaja.
According to Arco Real Estate, at the beginning of 2025, apartment prices remained stable also in the vicinity of Riga. The only exception was Ogre where apartment prices in the two months of 2025 climbed 2 percent.
