Independence Day fireworks planned in Ventspils, Jurmala and Ogre

Riga, Nov 15 (LETA) - On Latvia's Independence Day fireworks are planned in Ventspils, Jurmala and Ogre, while multimedia performances be held in other locations, according to information on municipal websites.
A concert followed by fireworks will be held in Ventspils at 18:00, fireworks by the Ogre Culture Center are planned at 18:00 and firework show by Kauguri Culture House in Jurmala will be held at 22:00.
Other municipalities will have laser lights and multimedia performances this year.
In Riga, a laser illumination show will be held at the Freedom Monument at 20:10.
At 17:00, projections of the project "Children Draw Latvia" by Peteris Rozenbergs of the Cesis City Art School will be shown on the facade of the New Castle in Cesis.
A multimedia story "Awakening in the Power of the Spirit" will be demonstrated on the walls of the Dobele Evangelical Lutheran Church at 18:18.
At 18:00, various places in the Ropazi region will be the scene of light, sound and video performances.
In Jelgava, a multimedia story "A gift for Latvia on its birthday" will be shown on the tower of Trinity Church at 22:22.
The Turaida Museum Reserve will present a light and sound story on November 16-17, from 17:00 to 20:00.
