    Ziemelkurzeme regional hospital receives international assistance from Netherlands

    RIGA, Nov 5 (LETA) - On Thursday evening, Ziemelkurzeme regional hospital received medical equipment for treatment of Covid-19 patients from the Netherlands, LETA learned from the hospital.

    The shipment was received within the framework of the EU Civil Protection Mechanism.

    The hospital received vital sign monitors that are switched to the central vital sign system, and ultrasonographic equipment.

    The hospital received the first Covid-19 patients in September 2020. As the patient flow increased, five wards have been adapted for treatment of Covid-19.
