RIGA, Sept 13 (LETA) - Wolt food delivery service has started its operations in Daugavpils, LETA learned from the company representatives.

At present, meals from 15 restaurants and cafes and deliveries from more than 15 stores can be ordered on Wolt app for delivery in Daugavpils.

Thus, Wolt is currently working in five Latvian cities - Riga, Jurmala, Liepaja, Jelgava and Daugavpils.

Wolt has been operating in Latvia since 2017. Currently meals can be ordered from more than 800 catering companies and different goods - from more than 400 stores.

In 2020, Wolt Latvija generated EUR 3.21 million in turnover and earned EUR 475,703 in profit.

Wolt Latvija was registered in 2016 and has a share capital of EUR 2,800. The company's sole owner is Finnish Wolt Enterprises.
