Share of regional bus drivers with Covid-19 certificate range from 70% to 95%
RIGA, Oct 28 (LETA) - The share of regional bus drivers with valid Covid-19 certificates range from 70 percent to 95 percent, LETA learned from the Road Transport Directorate.
In the past two weeks, the number of drivers who have started the vaccination process, has increased.
The directorate said that, according to the Cabinet of Ministers regulations on the state of emergency, all bus drivers providing public transportation services, should have a certificate proving vaccination of recovery from Covid-19 after November 15.
In the past two weeks, the Road Transport Directorate has received information from four companies, saying that provision of public transport services on some routes is threatened.
As reported, starting from November 15, all public sector employees, including employees working in state and municipal institutions, and those who are in direct contact with clients, and as required by employer, should have a valid certificate, proving vaccination or recovery from Covid-19.
