Jelgava suspends cooperation with Russian, Belarus cities
RIGA, April 1 (LETA) - Lawmakers of Jelgava state city, condemning Russia's military aggression and attack on Ukraine, condemning Belarus for supporting these attacks, decided to suspend cooperation signed with the cities of Magadan in Russia and Baranovichi in Belarus.
Lawmakers signed a joint statement, voicing support to Ukraine's fight for independence, and readiness to continue providing assistance to Jelgava's sister city Ivano-Frankivsk and other Ukrainian residents.

The Congress expresses its unwavering commitment to the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders.
