Swedbank grants EUR 900,000 loan for renovation of apartment house in Daugavpils
RIGA, July 28 (LETA) - Swedbank has extended a EUR 900,000 loan for renovation of an apartment house in Daugavpils, LETA was told at the bank.
The renovation project's total costs exceed EUR 1.3 million, and it has also received a grant from Development Finance Institution Altum under an energy efficiency program co-funded by the the European Union's (EU).
Property manager DMP will be coordinating the renovation of the five-story 97 apartment house, which has been built in 1980. Construction works will be carried out by Builder Industry.
Swedbank representative Ilze Kukute indicated that last year Swedbank co-funded 30 energy efficiency projects and in the first six months of this year the bank has granted a total of EUR 12.3 million to 26 apartment house renovation projects.
Swedbank is the largest bank in Latvia by assets.
