Most of Latvia's new Covid-19 cases recorded in Riga and Olaine
RIGA, Feb 8 (LETA) - Out of the 288 new Covid-19 cases confirmed in Latvia over the past 24 hours, most were recorded in Riga and Olaine, according to the data released by the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC).
The 131 new cases discovered in Riga brought the cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases in the Latvian capital to 3,631.
In Olaine, the cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases reached 167, with 17 new cases recorded in the last 24 hours.
Jelgava and the Tukums region registered nine cases each as the cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases reached 428 in Jelgava and 136 in the Tukums region.
Latvia's cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population is currently 569.1, according to LETA's estimates.
