Most of Latvia's new Covid-19 cases recorded in Riga, Daugavpils, Jelgava and Jurmala
RIGA, Feb 25 (LETA) - Out of the 813 new Covid-19 cases confirmed in Latvia over the past 24 hours, most were recorded in Riga, Daugavpils, Jelgava and Jurmala, according to the data released by the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC).
The 274 new cases discovered in Riga brought the cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases in the Latvian capital to 3,076.
Riga accounted for 34 percent of the new Covid-19 cases recorded in Latvia in the past 24 hours.
In Daugavpils, the cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases reached 477, with 39 cases discovered in the past 24 hours.
With 33 new cases confirmed in the past day, the two-week Covid-19 incidence in Jelgava reached 268.
Another 27 new Covid-19 cases confirmed in Jurmala brought the two-week Covid-19 incidence there to 323.
Latvia's cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population is now 501.
