Number of Ukrainian refugees in Daugavpils declines
RIGA, Aug 10 (LETA) - The number of Ukrainian refugees has dropped, Daugavpils Mayor Andrejs Alksnins (Harmony) told LETA.
The number of Ukrainian refugees now staying in Daugavpils has declined to 300 people. He explained this with reduction of state support for accommodation of refugees and the fact that pupils are returning to dormitories and need these premises.
He said that the state budget has not granted any funds for adjusting other premises for needs of Ukrainian accommodation.
