United List paid EUR 273,702 for its municipal elections campaign
Riga, July 11 (LETA) - The political party alliance United List has spent EUR 273,702 on the local elections campaign, according to the party's statement of revenues and expenditures for the local elections.
The total campaign income of the party during the elections was EUR 16,440. Of this, EUR 10,158 were received as financial donations, EUR 1,013 as other donations and EUR 5,268 as other income.
The largest sum or EUR 112,675 were spent on advertising in premises and public places. A further EUR 52,809 were spent on the preparation of all advertising material, while EUR 16,191 were spent on internet advertising. Commercial radio advertising accounted for EUR 25,645 and television for EUR 12,658.
Advertising in newspapers, magazines, newsletters and other periodicals, which are produced in print and widely distributed throughout the country, cost EUR 2,703, while advertising in periodicals distributed in a single town or district cost EUR 1,485. EUR 594 were spent on advertising on public radio.
Election campaign planning, preparation and organization cost EUR 35,802 and postal services - EUR 3,104.
The publication of newspapers, magazines, newsletters, books and other printed publications for the electoral campaign amounted to EUR 3,106, and the rental of movable and immovable property to EUR 342.
EUR 6,586 were spent on other election campaign expenses.
The amount of pre-election expenditure subject to the restrictions of the Law on the Financing of Political Organizations (Parties) was EUR 171,952.
