Riga, Aug 27 (LETA) - The contemporary culture forum White Night will take place for the 20th time in the Riga center and neighborhoods on September 6, LETA was informed by the Riga City Council.

This year, the forum's program includes 34 projects, including concerts, performances, installations, plays, art projects, poetry and many other events, which Riga residents and visitors will be able to enjoy free of charge.

The theme of the anniversary year is Clear Springs. This year, the White Night invites you to draw peace, knowledge and energy from the springs discovered, created and interpreted by the artists and creators of the White Night.

The events will take place in venues such as the culture and national art centre Small Guild, the Latvian Puppet Theatre courtyard, the Latvian National Museum of Art, the Ave Sol concert hall, Riga St. Jacob's Cathedral, Berga Bazars, K. Suns, Veldze creative quarter, Sports 2 quarter, Aristida courtyard, Grizindarzs, Riga Contemporary Art Space, Riga Dome Garden, Bastejkalns, Dome Square and other places.

The aim of the White Night is to motivate the public to discover the diversity of contemporary culture and to stimulate wider interest in cultural events, expressions and changes.
