RIGA, Aug 30 (LETA) - At the end of August, there are 495 vacancies in education institutions in Riga and Pieriga, LETA learned from the Riga City Council education, culture and sports department.

There are vacancies in a number of primary schools, secondary schools and preschools.

Most of vacancies are for technical staff - 140 vacancies.

There are 22 vacancies for Latvian language teachers, 21 English language teachers, 21 music teachers, 18 mathematics teachers among others.
