    MP Mozvillo to run in Saeima elections on Association for Latvia ticket

    RIGA, Aug 2 (LETA) - MP Maris Mozvillo, who until now has been a member of For a Humane Latvia party (formerly KPV LV), will run in the 14th Saeima elections on the Association for Latvia ticket, according to information submitted to the Central Election Commission. 

    In this year's parliamentary elections, Mozvillo will be the party's lead candidate in Vidzeme electoral district. 

    The electoral list of Association for Latvia also includes some other former KPV LV members, for instance, AHG CEO Egils Matiss Madelis who ran on the KPV LV ticket in the 2021 municipal elections and 2018 Saeima elections. Madelis is now candidate number three on the Association for Latvia list running in Kurzeme. 

    Janis Rinkis, board chairman of PR Holding, is the party's lead candidate in Riga, while Guntis Rolis, administrators of dunika.lv web portal, leads the Association for Latvia list in Kurzeme.

    Yetti Group board chairman Ilja Zlenko leads the Association for Latvia list in Latgale and Uldis Godainis, a department head at Synerica company is candidate number one in Zemgale.
