RIGA, Nov 2 (LETA) - Of the 1,884 new Covid-19 cases confirmed in Latvia in the past 24 hours, most were recorded in Riga, Daugavpils and Liepaja, according to the data released by the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC).

The 700 new cases discovered in Riga brought the cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases in the Latvian capital to 10,510.

Daugavpils registered 120 new cases in the past 24 hours as its cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases reached 2,778.

Liepaja reported 77 new Covid-19 cases, Valmiera municipality reported 60, Kekava and Ogre municipalities reported 54 cases each, Cesis and Jekabpils municipalities each reported 49 cases, Rezekne reported 45, Jelgava - 44, and a number of other municipalities reported fewer cases.

Latvia's cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population is currently 1,746.9, according to CDC data.
