Heating tariff in Plavinas to increase 95%
RIGA, June 29 (LETA) - Heating tariff in the town of Plavinas will increase by 94.84 percent, according to the company's statement printed in government gazette Latvijas Vestnesis.
Aizkraukle Region Council's company Plavinu Komunalie Pakalpojumi (Plavinas Utilities) plans to increase the heating tariff for Plavinas from the current EUR 50.20 to EUR 97.81 per megawatt-hour (MWh).
The heat generation component will increase from EUR 37.54 to EUR 74.60 per MWh, the transmission and distribution component will increase from EUR 10.18 to EUR 20.66, and the sales component will increase from EUR 2.48 to EUR 2.55.
The new tariff could come into force on November 1. The company explains the change in the tariff is due to the increasing fuel and electricity costs.
According to Firmas.lv, in 2021 Plavinu Komunalie Pakalpojumi posted EUR 904,973 in turnover and EUR 20,832 in profit.
