City council endorses Riga's membership in European Regions Research and Innovation Network
RIGA, Feb 9 (LETA) - Riga City Council on Wednesday endorsed the Latvian capital's members in the European Regions Research and Innovation Network (ERRIN).
ERRIN is a well-known Brussels-based platform that gathers 115 regional organizations from more than 20 European countries.
The organization has been established in 2001 to enhance its members' regional and local research and innovation capacities and further develop their research and innovation ecosystems.
The network maintains a long-standing relationship with the EU institutions and other organizations to strengthen the regional and local dimension in EU Research and Innovation policy and programs.
