Killu Maidla to start work as managing director of Estonian Hotel, Restaurant Association
TALLINN, Mar 17, BNS – Killu Maidla, former manager of the Hektor Konteinerhotell (Hektor Container Hotel), will become the new managing director of the Estonian Hotels and Restaurants Association on March 22, taking over the job from Maarika Honkonen.
Maidla has been working in the hotel business for the last 10 years as a manager, the association said. In 2011-2019, she managed the My City Hotel in the Old Town of Tallinn. From 2019, Maidla took over the management of the Hektor Container Hotel, which was opened in the Telliskivi area of Tallinn just before the COVID-19 crisis in February 2020.
The Estonian Hotel and Restaurant Association is a representative organization of natural and legal persons in the hotel and restaurant industry, comprising about 200 companies or associations of companies.
