Students who have resumed in-person learning are doing great - Suplinska

RIGA, March 15 (LETA) - Students in grades 1-4 who have been allowed to resume in-person learning according to the "safe school" principle are doing great, Education and Science Minister Ilga Suplinska (New Conservative Party) told Latvian Television this morning.
In all local governments that meet the safe school principle, except one, transition to in-person school attendance for students in grades 1-4 has proceeded without a hitch, said Suplinska.
"According to the students, there are no problems with the masks and the distancing rules. They all understand very well that it is their responsible actions that make it possible for them to be together," said Suplinska.
As reported, on February 22 students in grades 1-4 in 25 municipalities were allowed to resume contact learning.
