Latgale reports lowest share of Covid-19 vaccinated people
RIGA, April 9 (LETA) - Of all Latvian regions, Latgale reported the lowest share of vaccinated people against Covid-19 - 3.9 percent, Health Minister Daniels Pavluts (For Development) said at the government meeting on Thursday.
It is by 5.7 percentage points lower than in Vidzeme, where 9.6 percent of residents have been vaccinated.
Zemgale reported the second lowest share - 7.5 percent, which is by 0.6 percentage points lower than average in Latvia.
Meanwhile, in Riga 8.8 percent of residents have been vaccinated, and 9 percent have been vaccinated in Kurzeme.
