For Kuldiga Municipality party wins convincingly at local elections in Kuldiga
Riga, June 8 (LETA) - The party For Kuldiga Municipality has won convincingly in the local elections in Kuldiga municipality, according to data published by the Central Election Commission.
Counting the votes in all 24 polling stations in Kuldiga, For Kuldiga Municipality won 52.81 percent of the votes, winning nine seats in the city council.
The second place in Kuldiga municipality is taken by the Union of Greens and Farmers with 14.78 percent of the votes, which gives the party two seats in the council.
The National Alliance received 13.14 percent of the votes, which gives it also two seats. The party Republic received 7.66 percent and one seat, and the New Conservative Party received 6.27 percent of the votes and one seat.
The other parties in Kuldiga municipality did not break the 5 percent barrier.
