Riga local government has provided accommodation to nearly 850 Ukrainians refugees
RIGA, March 15 (LETA) The local government of Riga City has so far provided accommodation to nearly 850 Ukrainian war refugees, Hildegarde Graumane, head of Riga Vice Mayor Linda Ozola's (Conservatives), informed LETA.
She said that the number of accommodated refugees was constantly changing.
As reported, not all refugees that have been accommodated in Riga stay in the city. On Monday it was reported that 67 people had checked out of the accommodation facilities provided to them by the local authority.
Some of these people had found accommodation elsewhere or moved to their relatives, friends of acquaintances, while others had left for other EU countries.
