RIGA, April 16 (LETA) - Of the 612 new Covid-19 cases confirmed in Latvia in the past 24 hours, 30 percent have been recorded in Riga, while a relatively high number of cases have been reported also in Daugavpils and Liepaja, according to the data released by the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC).

Riga reported 182 new Covid-19 cases, which brought the capital city's 14-day cumulative number of Covid-19 cases to 2,280.

Daugavpils registered 28 new Covid-19 cases, as its cumulative two-week number of cases grew to 284.

Liepaja reported 26 new Covid-19 cases, while the city's cumulative two-week Covid-19 cases rose to 146.

Latvia's cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population is currently 354.1, according to LETA's estimates.
