Ņemot vērā Covid-19 jaunā varianta - omikrona - straujo izplatīšanos ne tikai Āfrikā, bet arī Eiropas valstīs, lidostā "Rīga" tiek uzsākta intensīvāka ielidojošo reisu pasažieru Covid-19 skrīninga testēšana, kas izlases kārtībā katru dienu tiks veikta četru līdz sešu reisu visiem pasažieriem neatkarīgi no personas vakcinācijas vai pārslimošanas statusa.
