Rīgas Valsts 1. ģimnāzijas absolvents Francis Roops (centrā) ar projektu "Melnais ledus un tā noteikšana ar gaismu" piedalās pasākumā Hanzas peronā, kur notiek Eiropas Savienības Jauno zinātnieku konkurss (EUCYS), kurā nedēļas garumā vairāk nekā 130 topošie zinātnieki no 37 valstīm starptautiskai žūrijai prezentē zinātniski pētnieciskos projektus 10 zinātnes disciplīnās.
